Adhab - Morals and Manners in Islam

As you enter into and progress on your journey inIslam you will find that Muslims generally, regardless of background, tend to behave in a similar way when dealing with private and social matters.

This is what we call Adhab Al-Islam which is a comprehensive code of behaviour covering most aspects of this ‘way of life.’

Adhab is an Arabic word meaning customs, manners or civility. It is more than just etiquette and covers a whole range of human relations ranging from the simplest actions to the more complex and elaborate of social occasions.

In this section we will cover some aspects of  social interaction we feel will help you navigate your way successfully in meeting and mixing with the Muslim community.
